Working without a Default Retirement Age ... Do you know where your members stand?
TAEN and Russell Jones & Walker are holidng a seminar focusing on issues faced by older workers.
Older workers are more likely to be in a union - how can unions best protect and promote their interests now that the Default Retirement Age has gone? Our speakers will look at this from both legal and collective bargaining viewpoints.
Alison Humphry from Russell Jones & Walker, Chris Ball from TAEN and Roger Jeary, a trade union speaker, will consider how retirement may operate going forward, the interplay and performance management, and international best practice. They will also review recent age discrimination decisions, followedby an interactive question and answer session.
The seminar will start at 6:30pm and will be followed by drinks and canapes.
Venue: Central London
