Recognising Commitment to Age Diverse Workforces

TAEN collaborates with the US-based AARP to promote the AARP International Innovative Employer Awards for organisations outside the United States who implement the best practices and policies for attracting and retaining mature workers.

In 2008 UK employers won four of the ten international awards.  The winners were Agewell-Sandwell Primary Care Trust; BT Group plc; Centrica plc; and Domestic & General Group Limited.  The 2009 winners will be announced in the autumn.
